This multi-use building is a true celebration of Makati’s diverse heritage, offering a unique blend of functions that cater to a variety of interests.
The lower floors of the One Harrison Building house a dynamic mix of spaces, including a trendy restaurant/bar where locals and visitors alike can savor delectable cuisine and craft cocktails. For those with a passion for music, the building also hosts dedicated music spaces that resonate with the soulful sounds of the city. Furthermore, fitness enthusiasts will find a well-equipped gym to stay active and healthy.
The conceptual design of the One Harrison Building draws inspiration from the traditional accesoria or shophouse concept, where the lower floors are thoughtfully designated for retail spaces and public interactions, while the upper floors provide private living quarters for the building’s owners. This fusion of functions harmonizes modernity with the historical significance of the district, creating a unique and welcoming space for residents and visitors alike.
One of the most striking features of the One Harrison Building is its exterior facade. A nod to the Philippines’ esteemed art deco movement, the design team meticulously crafted the building’s appearance. Drawing inspiration from classical art deco structures both within the Philippines and abroad, the building proudly showcases intricate details and elegant geometry that define the art deco era. The use of mint green and bronze design accents adds a dash of modern flair while preserving the building’s historical resonance, making it a bold and captivating landmark in Poblacion.
