Project Brief
Universal Robina Corporation's Malvar Manufacturing Hub in Batangas, is one of the company's largest manufacturing centers in the country. The complex is 34 hectares wide, with several buildings catered towards the manufacturing of URC's various food products for distribution throughout Global Markets. The plant also contains administration and supporting buildings, which were also designed by the firm.
Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) analysis was performed to mitigate the effects of heat gain to create a more temperate and comfortable working environment within the production plants. The development is planned to house production for URC corporation’s various food products, including various fried snacks and drinks
The production workflow was taken into account in the planning of the structure, to allow for seamless production, storage and delivery, to allow for efficient manufacturing workflows.
To celebrate URC’s rich and storied history in its various years of food production, a small museum was conceptualized as a way to educate the community about food manufacturing.
