The pavilion takes the form of a bamboo bridge, an architectural response to a fragmented community’s waste disposal problem, and the fruit of an iterative process designed to restore relationships between people and nature. The pavilion utilizes a parametric design system, which allowed for easy construction and reconstruction in both the Philippines and Italy.

JOG + Associates played a key role in the design and technical supervision of the pavilion's construction, as a member of The Architecture Collective.
